IS BLOOD PRESSURE A SERIOUS PROBLEM?

Blood pressure is the force of the blood exerted on the artery walls as the heart pumps blood throughout the body. Hypertension is the term for blood pressure that is constantly higher than normal. Hypertension is primary when there is no cause for the high blood pressure is found.  Secondary hypertension is known, such as kidney disease and tumors, about 95% people fall with high blood pressure have primary hypertension.

REASONS FOR BLOOD PRESSURE

There are no clear evidences of primary hypertension. However, there are different factors can increase blood pressure, such as:

Obesity 

Smoking

High salt intake

Consumption of alcohol

Important factors :

Race: African Americans (Blacks) are more chances develop high blood pressure.

Gender: Males are more prone to  developing high blood pressure than women till age 55. After the age of 75, women  develop high blood pressure than men.

Heredity: If parents had high blood pressure Genetics also cause high risk.

Age: The age factor is crucial to develop; the more common in age is to develop high blood pressure.
